Mission management is essential to drone operations. In Ground Control, we've updated the mission details screen to put this information all on one page, in an easy-to-navigate overview.
The first section outlines team and equipment assignment, as well as an interactive map of the mission site. Flight plans can be created and currently assigned plans can be viewed and managed.
There's a section for mission imagery, where pilots can upload raw images and image folders. Documents can be managed and links can be added to relevant information like processed data, maps, or other external resources.
Because Ground Control automatically logs flights from the mobile app, we can now provide an aggregated list of logs right within the mission details screen.
Lastly, teams can add comments to missions to track important discussion.
The new Mission Details page is the central hub for drone operations managers to view and manage all aspects of their missions.
