Drones and accessories supported by Measure Ground Control
The web portal is currently built to manually track any equipment you may need to add into the portal and the mapping integration with Pix4D can accept any RGB imagery for topography that is in the JPEG or TIFF family. The MGC Web Portal also allows users to track and manage drones and accessories from a wide variety of manufacturers. This process is most seamless (and automatic) for DJI Equipment, but is at its core equipment-agnostic for scheduling, manually logging and reporting.
If a non-DJI manufacturer you need is not in our tenant, please contact support and we can arrange its addition for Enterprise users.
Currently, the MGC Mobile App is only compatible with the following DJI aircraft*.
- Mavic (all versions)
- Mavic 2 (all versions) including Smart Controller
- Mavic Air 1
- Phantom 3 (all versions)
- Phantom 4 (all versions)
- Exception being the P4P RTK- only limited functionality available
- Inspire 1, 1 Pro and Inspire 2
- Matrice 100/200/210 (all versions)
- Matrice 600 and 600 Pro
- Mavic Mini**
*Additional DJI Aircraft not listed here may work for manual flights.
**Certain functionality in the MGC Mobile app may not be fully supported.
Flights flown using the MGC Mobile App and a DJI aircraft will be automatically synced to the Web Portal, where they can be reviewed at a later date. Pilots flying non-DJI aircraft can still use the Mobile App to upload flight logs and support themselves in the field (checking airspace, managing insurance, etc).
While we do support older drones like the DJI Phantom 3 Professional (P3P), MGC users may experience some performance issues due to the older hardware and developments within the DJI SDK.
Currently, the MGC Mobile App is compatible with the following payloads:
